You know how in cartoons they always make it seem like there's a little guy in the fridge who turns on and off the light? It's like people don't understand the concept of the little button by the door that shuts the light when its closed.
"How does the light go off? It must be magic or something! Maybe there's a little guy in the fridge who turns on and off the light!"
And then they make a cartoon about it. But everybody should understand how the light works, so it's stupid.
The ice maker though - I still haven't figured that one out.
